Ouimet Climbs Ladder to Take 2nd Place in VW Jetta TDI Cup Round 3July 9, 2010
Plymouth, Mass. – Top rookie Arie Ouimet had another strong weekend, in the 2010 VW Jetta TDI Cup Round 4, held at Utah’s Miller Motorsports Park. Despite some tough luck early in the weekend, he battled back, earning a fourth place finish after starting the race in the sixth position. It was his second straight top 5 result, and helped Ouimet gain ground in the Series Championship Standings, where he’s currently in third place – just 32 points behind leader Juan Pablo Sierra-Lendle, and a mere 2 back of Round 4 winner Jake Thompson.
